Encoding, in standard minutes
Your plan’s encoding minutes are standard minutes: one minute of adaptive video up to 1080p. Other encodes weigh more or less, per minute of video: the resolution multiplier times the mode factor. Your plan’s minutes are used first; past them, each standard minute is $0.04 from your wallet. Every plan includes 2K and 4K, and every video is quoted before it encodes.

The resolution multiplier goes by the largest stream a video actually gets, measured on its short side, so a vertical 1080×1920 video counts as 1080p. A video is never charged for a size it does not get.
Billed per second, with a 60-second minimum per video, applied before the weight.
Switching a single stream to adaptive later costs the difference: 0.25 × the resolution multiplier per minute of video.
For example, 10 minutes of 4K adaptive is 10 × 3 = 30 standard minutes.
